As a highly recognized company, we specialize in a full range of construction and maintenance services for the Natural Gas Distribution and Transmission industry. CUC is currently seeking a Small Equipment Operators to join our team in Surrey, BC and be responsible for operating skid steers, back hoes and mini-excavators around high pressure underground natural gas lines in tight areas. Our Small Equipment Operator is a professional operator and is committed to safety, continuous improvement, and ongoing learning and development.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of experience with gas distribution systems
- Experience operating skid steers around live underground utilities
- Valid BC Driver’s License, Class 1 or 3 is required plus a clean driving record
- Effective verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong belief in Live Safe
- A willingness to travel to other operational areas as required
